The Gila County Republican Committee marked its 26th annual Lincoln Day Dinner fundraiser with a full crowd of supporters, community leaders and candidates gathered to support local Republican efforts.
The event featured keynote remarks from Andy Biggs, who outlined his vision for Arizona’s future, emphasizing border security, economic growth, preserving individual freedoms and strengthening state leadership.
He was joined by Eli Crane, who spoke about protecting rural communities, supporting veterans and maintaining fiscal responsibility in Washington, D.C. Also addressing attendees was Wendy Rogers, who highlighted her continued focus on election integrity, public safety and advocating for Northern Arizona values at the state level.
Both Rogers and Crane are unopposed in their respective primaries. Together with Biggs, they also expressed support for ongoing efforts by the committee to elect Republicans throughout Gila County.
The event emcee was former Payson mayor and KMOG radio personality Kenny Murphy. Organizers said the dinner highlighted strong grassroots momentum in Gila County, which recently led the state in early voting, a result they attributed to extensive get-out-the-vote efforts by volunteers and organizers.
Funds raised during the dinner will support those initiatives as well as help maintain the committee’s headquarters in Payson, described by organizers as a hub for candidates and campaigns across Northern Arizona.
