SB 1591, introduced by Sen. Wendy Rogers would eliminate the Concealed Carry Permit fee for Arizonans and offset it with out-of-state permit holders’ fees.
Explaining her vote in support of the bill, Rogers said, “Why should we Arizona residents have to pay for our concealed carry permit when we could cover this cost with out-of-state…participants in the program? This is a fiscally effective way to cover the cost while still having it be our right here in Arizona.”
