The Arizona Police Association (APA), one of Arizona’s leading law enforcement organizations, has endorsed Senator Wendy Rogers for re-election in Legislative District 7.
The endorsement reflects Rogers’ long-standing support for Arizona’s law enforcement officers, first responders, and public safety professionals throughout her service in the Arizona Legislature.
The Arizona Police Association represents thousands of police officers, detention officers, probation officers, dispatchers, and other public safety personnel across the state. The organization has consistently advocated for policies that support law enforcement, protect public safety, and ensure officers have the tools and resources needed to keep Arizona communities safe. Throughout her time in the Senate, Rogers has been a strong advocate for law enforcement and public safety. She has consistently supported efforts to combat drug trafficking, strengthen border security, increase penalties for violent offenders, and improve cooperation between local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
As Chair of the Senate Judiciary and Elections Committee, Rogers has worked to advance legislation focused on public safety, election security, victims’ rights, and the rule of law. She has also been a vocal supporter of Arizona’s peace officers and has repeatedly opposed efforts to weaken law enforcement protections or undermine public safety.
A retired Air Force lieutenant colonel and veteran of twenty years of military service, Rogers has often emphasized the importance of supporting those who put themselves in harm’s way to protect their communities.
“Few endorsements mean more to me than the support of Arizona’s law enforcement community,” Rogers said. “Every day, our police officers and first responders put on the uniform and stand between law-abiding citizens and those who would do them harm. I am honored to have earned their trust and support.”
The endorsement adds to a growing list of organizations and community leaders supporting Rogers’ re-election campaign as she continues fighting for safer communities, stronger borders, and a more secure Arizona.
