Sen. Wendy Rogers Earns Perfect 100% NFIB Voting Record for Supporting Arizona Small Businesses

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), Arizona’s leading advocate for small businesses, has awarded Senator Wendy Rogers a perfect 100% voting record for the 2025-2026 legislative session, recognizing her unwavering support for Arizona’s job creators and Main Street businesses.

Only fifteen Arizona legislators earned a perfect NFIB score this year.

“A 100 percent NFIB voting record isn’t given—it’s earned, one tough vote at a time,” said NFIB Arizona State Director Chad Heinrich. “These legislators showed up when it mattered, standing firm on issues that impact Main Street.”

The NFIB scorecard evaluated ten key votes involving taxes, regulations, administrative fairness, and other issues directly affecting Arizona small businesses. Senator Rogers supported the NFIB position on every scored vote.

Among the issues included in the scorecard were legislation to provide advance notice of municipal tax changes, protect contractors from burdensome restrictions on construction hours, conform Arizona tax law to federal tax deductions, increase the business personal property tax exemption, require voter approval before local governments impose new fees, and limit the ability of unelected agencies to raise administrative fees without legislative approval.

For Rogers, supporting small business is a natural extension of her work representing rural Arizona. Family-owned businesses, ranches, contractors, retailers, restaurants, and service providers form the backbone of communities throughout Legislative District 7.

Throughout her time in the Senate, Rogers has consistently supported policies that reduce regulatory burdens, protect property rights, improve infrastructure, strengthen workforce participation, and keep taxes low for Arizona families and employers.

“Small businesses are the engine that drives Arizona’s economy,” Rogers said. “When government reduces taxes, cuts red tape, and gets out of the way, entrepreneurs can do what they do best: create jobs, serve their communities, and grow our economy.”

The perfect NFIB score highlights Rogers’ continued commitment to economic freedom, limited government, and policies that help Arizona businesses succeed.
