‘I Call on All Patriots to Get Behind His Campaign’: Sen. Rogers Endorses Josh Barnett for Congress

Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers (R) announced her endorsement for Republican congressional candidate Josh Barnett, who is running for Arizona’s Congressional District 1.

Incumbent David Schweikert, Josh Barnett, and Elijah Norton are running in the Republican primary for U.S. House Arizona District 1 on August 2, 2022. The general election will occur on November 8, 2022, as reported by BallotPedia.

“I endorse Josh Barnett for Congress. He has supported every #ElectionIntegrity measure that has come across my desk,” Senator Wendy Rogers said in a statement on Twitter Monday.

“He is very knowledgeable about policy and we need smart guys in office who know how to fight back against the lobbyists and swamp,” she continued.

“Josh will protect our guns, secure our border and will work to get this inflation under control. Josh is beloved by the grassroots and I call on all patriots to get behind his campaign,” Senator Rogers urged.

Josh Barnett expressed his gratitude for Rogers’ endorsement, saying, “Thank you for your endorsement. It means a lot coming from a fighter! [Wendy Rogers]. #AmericaFirst patriots will take back this Constitutional Republic!”

According to Barnett, he has “witnessed the corruption and disregard for our Constitution that is eroding liberty in our country. Instead of doing what is right, politicians are pushing legislation and bad ideas in order to advance themselves or their political party without regard for the people.”

“I am a loyal American who loves God, my country and my family. I believe that all people are created equal, and that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, and that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness,” his campaign page states.

“I am committed to ALWAYS put people over politics,” Barnett says.
