Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers (R) announced her endorsement Thursday for Maryland gubernatorial candidate Dan Cox.
Cox, a firebrand state delegate, made public last summer his intent to run for governor in the November midterms. He has also been considered as the most Trump-aligned candidate among his rivals.
“I endorse [DanCox] for governor of Maryland. He is beloved by the grassroots, has fought for audits, supports President Trump and has been fighting for America First conservative issues his entire life,” Senator Wendy Rogers said in a statement on Thursday from Twitter.
“Dan Cox is pro 2nd Amendment, is against amnesty for illegals and stands for life. Dan is the right choice for Maryland governor. Dan is worthy of the office and we need him – please help him all you can,” the Arizona lawmaker urged.
Cox is running on a “Renewed Vision of Constitutional Leadership” which includes protecting individual rights and freedoms, providing parents with choice of educational opportunities and banning Critical Race Theory in schools, cutting taxes, funding police, ensuring election integrity, and a forensic audit of the 2020 election.
45th President Donald J. Trump also endorsed Cox on November 22, 2012, saying that he “is very strong on Election Integrity”, adding, “He fought against the Rigged Presidential Election every step of the way, and will bring secure Elections back to Maryland. Dan Cox has my Complete and Total Endorsement!”
